General Overview

At an intermediate level, provides analysis of supply chain data, information, processes, and systems in order to reduce cost, improve quality and provide for more informed strategic decisions. Designs new or modified tools, processes and procedures to solve complex problems considering limitations and desired results. Contributes to process improvement efforts and communicates changes. This position utilizes knowledge and experience in own discipline but is still building higher-level knowledge and skills. Receives moderate level of guidance and direction from supervisor, manager and/or more experienced colleagues.


  • Researches and analyzes external market conditions, industry best practices and other information critical to supply chain and develops action plans and financial impacts.
  • Performs analysis of data to provide information that can be used in inventory and materials management, supply management, supply chain, and business decisions. Interprets data, draws relevant conclusions and contributes to development and presentation of optimal recommendations to staff and management.
  • Analyzes supply chain operations to understand process strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to improve processes and functions. Participates in designing new or modified processes to enable solutions.
  • Identifies stakeholder needs and develops tools/solutions for meeting such needs.
  • Develops and implements analytical tools and reports in support of LCRA's processes and mission.
  • Designs processes and programs that will result in measurable improvements.
  • Participates in cross functional project teams through various phases as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Six or more years of experience in supply management, operations analysis, process improvement, project management, business, systems analysis or financial analysis. A degree in supply management, business, economics, finance, computer science, information systems or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
